The Baptist Trumpet newspaper, which has been serving the BMA since 1940, is the official weekly publication of the Baptist Missionary Association of Arkansas. The 8-page newspaper is published weekly (46 times a year; no issues the weeks of the national BMA meeting in April, the state BMA meeting in November, and the weeks of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Christmas.) The current circulation (mailed version and the E-Trumpet) is about 11,600.

The Trumpet (newspaper), one of the departments of the BMA of Arkansas, is designed to inspire and inform our readers. Each issue includes up-to-date news articles about matters that pertain to the religious community as a whole, inspirational articles and stories pertaining to our churches. We include regular reports about the activities of the other three departments of the BMA of Arkansas (Central Baptist College, State Missions, and Youth Department) as well as the various departments of the BMA of America.

The Trumpet also has a full service print shop which is designed to offer our churches and other organizations top quality printing at a competitive price. The revenue generated by the print shop supplements the Trumpet income and allows us to keep our subscription costs as low as possible.
